
On December 2, 2025, the Faculty of Education, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized an academic service project to develop reading, writing, and analytical thinking skills for elementary school students, Phase 1, under the main project "Educational Quality Improvement and Educational Innovation Development Project based on the PTRU Competency-Based Model." The project aimed to promote basic language skills and develop analytical thinking for students in grades 4–6 at Ban Thap Chak School, Ranong Province, to enhance academic achievement and skills necessary for future learning.
The activity, held on December 2, 2025, at Ban Thap Chak School, Ranong Province, was supported by qualified faculty and educational personnel from the Faculty of Education, along with cooperation from local teachers. The project implemented active learning activities and innovative teaching methods that helped students develop comprehensive language skills through a variety of activities, including purposeful reading, creative writing, analytical thinking exercises, skill-building games, and communication activities that provided opportunities for students to practice presenting and using language confidently.
This initiative not only developed students' reading and writing skills but also fostered higher-order thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. These are essential 21st-century skills and align with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). Goal 4: Quality Education, which aims to ensure that all children and youth receive inclusive, equitable, and quality education.
This first phase of implementation marks an important step in driving educational quality in Ranong Province. The Faculty of Education will continue to develop activities in the next phase to ensure sustainable results and maximum benefit for students, as well as serve as a model for improving the quality of education in other areas in the future.
