On October 4, 2024, first-year students of the Social Studies program, Faculty of Education, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Lalana Wongprasert, a lecturer of SOI 1302 Sociology Principles, visited and studied at the learning center at the Sirindhorn Anthropology Center.
The objective is to provide students with knowledge and understanding about the social and cultural contexts of various groups of people in Thailand, their neighbors, and humanity, as well as to connect the past, present, and future, to accept the diversity of fellow human beings who have philosophies and ways of life that respect each other's dignity, to be aware of the changes occurring in the contemporary world, and to prepare to cope with them intelligently. Students can use this as a case study or basis for studying sociology and anthropology.
The activities include listening to a lecture on Ethnicity and Diversity in Thai Society by Mr. Apinant Thamsena.
