On February 9, 2026, the Thai Language Department, Faculty of Education, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized the 2nd Internationalization Promotion Project to Develop Professional Thai Language Teacher Competencies, with the topic “Sunthorn Phu's Nirat and Buddhism in the Early Rattanakosin Period.” Assistant Professor Dr. Paul McBain, Thai Studies Program, Pridi Banomyong International College (PBIC), Thammasat University, was the lecturer for third-year students and interested individuals at the Kannaphon Phipat Meeting Room (1157). This project reflects the Faculty of Education's commitment to addressing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Goal 4, which aims to raise the standards for producing competent Thai language teachers who understand cultural diversity and can transmit knowledge in modern formats.
