Assistant Professor Dr. Sasiporn Phongploenpis presented her paper, Critical Dialogic Education to Empower Language Teacher Education in Thailand, at the 33rd International Symposium on English Language Teaching and Learning: Technology in English Language Teaching and Learning, held November 9-10, 2024, at the Chien Tan Overseas Youth Activity Center in Taipei, Taiwan. The conference, hosted by Yuan Ze University and the English Teachers' Association, Republic of China, brought together experts from across Asia and beyond. Representing the Thailand TESOL Association, she also participated in a General Meeting with affiliates from Japan, Korea, and the Philippines. Her research, published as a selected paper in the program book, addresses the hierarchical dynamics between pre-service and cooperating teachers, advocating for more balanced, equitable relationships within teaching internship communities and fostering inclusive teacher education practices.
