The academic service project titled “Development of an Innovative Curriculum Model and Learning Management to Enhance Four Key Characteristics through Competency-Based Instruction Using the PTRU Model” was held from May 6–8, 2026, at Kantary Hotel & Serviced Apartments Sriracha. The project brought together faculty members from the Faculty of Education representing various academic disciplines, particularly in the three core areas assessed by PISA.
The main objective of this project was to summarize and finalize the innovative curriculum model handbook intended for teacher training programs. The training aimed to equip teachers with knowledge and skills in competency-based learning management, enabling them to design effective instructional approaches aligned with 21st-century learning competencies through the application of the PTRU Model.
In addition, the project focused on promoting the “Four Key Characteristics” among learners through instructional processes that emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and the practical application of knowledge in real-life situations. These approaches are considered essential in enhancing the quality of Thai education to meet the demands of a rapidly changing global society.
Furthermore, the project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. By strengthening teacher capacity and developing innovative learning management models, the project contributes to sustainable educational development and improved learner competencies for the future.
