On February 20, 2026, the Faculty of Education organized the Basic Training Course (B.T.C.) for Senior Scout Leaders for 430 third-year students enrolled in the Basic Senior Scout Leader Course in the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. The aim was to provide students with a general understanding of scouting, practical skills and ceremonies, and the ability to apply the acquired knowledge for their own benefit and the scouting movement. This training camp not only followed the curriculum but was also designed to contribute to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDGs). The training focused on active learning outside the classroom, developing life skills for aspiring teachers to better educate and develop well-rounded students (SDGs Goal 16). It also fostered the Scout Law and Oath, instilling discipline, honesty, respect for social rules, and the qualities of a good citizen (SDGs Goal 17). The shared camp experience among the 430 students cultivated teamwork, sharing, and mutual assistance. This forms a crucial foundation for building cooperation in society. The event took place from February 20 to 22, 2026, at Pongrat Scout Camp, Nongkum Subdistrict, Bo Phloi District, Kanchanaburi Province.
