On March 20, 2026, Assistant Professor Teerarat Tipjaradmetha, head of the Social Studies Department, and Assistant Professor Pichaya Sriroj, a special lecturer in Introduction to Law, led second-year Social Studies students on a visit to the Thai Court Museum and Archives. Mr. Suriyan Hongvilai, spokesperson for the Thai courts, presided over the welcoming ceremony and provided an overview of the history of the Thai courts. The director and the team of lecturers also kindly guided the students through the museum and provided information on Thai court history. The students gained a great deal of knowledge and showed keen interest in learning more about Thai courts. We would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Suriyan Hongvilai, Chief Judge of the Supreme Court and Spokesperson for the Thai Courts, as well as the Director of the Library and Information Center; the Thai Court Museum and Archives; the experts; the museum staff; and Assistant Professor Pichaya Sriroj for providing the students with this valuable off-campus learning opportunity, which is extremely beneficial for their studies in Introduction to Law and Social Studies.
