21 August 2020, Ayutthaya - Assistant Professor Dr. Sasiporn Phongploenpis, Head of English Program, Faculty of Education, organized a project entitled “ “The 2020 English Camp for Enhancement SSRU Expected Characteristics in Students” at Bang Pa-in Palace and Wat Phra Si Sanphet, in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. The project aims to facilitate freshmen students to produce clip videos of teaching English and promoting Thai culture. This is an integrated assignment of three courses: Speaking for Teachers of English, World Cultures for Teachers of English, and English structure for Teachers of English. Participating in the project, the students have gained knowledge and skills of teamwork, choosing locations, designing contents, presentation, grammar, and history. Also, the project output has presented a good image of SSRU. The project was finished with the students’ joy with beautiful historical places and shopping which helped boost tourism before heading back to the university.
