On December 23, 2025, third-year Social Studies students enrolled in the SOI 3302 Local History course visited the Sirindhorn Anthropology Centre (Public Organization). The objective was to provide students with a deeper understanding of the concepts and processes of studying local history using seven tools for researching, analyzing, interpreting, and managing historical and cultural evidence within a community context. This included archaeological evidence, documents, chronicles, local wisdom, and cultural landscapes. The visit also aimed to enhance awareness of the value and diversity of local heritage and promote the professional competence of social studies teachers in designing systematic local history lessons. Dr. Lalana Wongprasert, a faculty member in the Social Studies Department, supervised the field trip.
