The Faculty of Education at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University participated in a merit-making ceremony dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. The event, which included Buddhist chanting and an alms-offering ceremony, took place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, on the first floor of the Office of the President building at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
During the ceremony, university administrators, faculty members, and staff joined in the acts of merit, which included offering a morning meal to ten Buddhist monks from Wat Rachathiwat Vihara. The proceedings also featured Buddhist chanting, the offering of maha-bangsukula (ceremonial cloth for the deceased/honored), the presentation of thai-tham (offerings for monks), and the ritual of pouring water (*kruat nam*) to receive blessings—all performed to invoke auspiciousness and to express deep gratitude for Her Majesty’s royal kindness.
